Psychological Testing Services
Here For You
We provide Psychodignostic Assessment Testing Services for adults between ages 18 to 70: The assessment testing process has a variety of benefits; it assists in clarifying personality organizations, treatment recommendations, intervention and goals for therapy. Further, the insights from this assessment helps clarify diagnosis with cultural sensitivity while using both a DSM-V and Psychoanalytic/Psychodynamic
perspective as a collaborative and humanistic approach in psychotherapy.
Assessment Testing consists of:
-Interpretation of Results
Memory and Performance Diagnostic
Neurological Screening services are offered to explore concerns with memory retention, recall and cognitive flexibility. Over the course of our lives; life may become challenging with body/ brain behavior as our minds try to adapt and relate to the world at different phases of life. Testing the different areas of the brain seeks to identify strengths and weaknesses; providing diagnosis, feedback and recommendations to address concerns with cognition.
Cognitive Rehabilitation Therapy
Improve Memory and Cognitive Flexibility
Cognitive Rehabilitation Therapy (CRT) is a collection of individual treatment strategies designed to improve problems with memory, attention, perception, learning, planning and judgment brought about by brain injury, neurological disorders or other illnesses. The goal of CRT is to improve functions of memory, attention processing, social communications, problem-solving and the regulation of emotions.
~Length of CRT will be determined upon intake evaluation, goals and progress.~
The practice provides a standard fee for therapeutic sessions that we can discuss together during our phone consultation. I also offer a sliding scale in specific circumstances. Individual sessions are usually 50 minutes once per week and 90 minutes for Couple Therapy. Over time we may decide to increase or decrease the frequency of sessions depending on your needs.
For persons seeking reimbursement from your insurance company, I provide a monthly statement for services rendered. If you are planning on using insurance for reimbursement, I recommend contacting your insurance company to determine if you have mental health coverage, information on your deductible, and what percentage of your bill will be covered for services provided by an out of network provider.
I am considered “Out-of-Network” for most insurance companies. I will provide you with a monthly “Super Bill” to provide to your insurance company to receive reimbursement in accordance with your policy. You can speak with your insurance company regarding the terms of your policy to get a better understanding of what sessions will cost.
Prior to our first session, you may contact your insurance company and ask the following questions:
· Do I have mental health coverage?
· What percentage of my bill will be covered for services obtained by an out-of-network provider? (Super Bill)
· How many sessions will be covered for reimbursement per calendar year?
· What is my deductible, and has it been met?
